Goodwill Children School

Our History

The history of Goodwill Children School is deeply intertwined with the vision and dedication of its founder, Late Shri BS Rawat, an esteemed educator and advocate for affordable education and women empowerment.

In the year 2001, inspired by a profound commitment to serve the community and uplift the marginalized, Late Shri BS Rawat laid the foundation for Goodwill Children School. Driven by his unwavering belief in the transformative power of education, he envisioned a school that would not only provide quality education to children but also empower women, recognizing their pivotal role in shaping the future of society.

From its humble beginnings, Goodwill Children School embarked on a journey to fulfill its founder's vision. Despite facing numerous challenges, including financial constraints and logistical hurdles, the school remained steadfast in its mission to make education accessible to all, regardless of socio-economic background.

Under the guidance of Late Shri BS Rawat, the school pioneered innovative approaches to ensure affordability without compromising on the quality of education. Scholarships, subsidized fees, and community support programs were established to ensure that no child was deprived of the opportunity to learn and grow.

Moreover, recognizing the importance of women's empowerment in fostering sustainable development, Goodwill Children School launched initiatives aimed at providing women with education, skills training, and support networks. Through these efforts, women were empowered to break free from the chains of inequality and fulfill their potential as leaders and change-makers in their communities.

Over the years, Goodwill Children School has grown from strength to strength, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless children and women. Today, as we reflect on our history, we honor the legacy of Late Shri BS Rawat and reaffirm our commitment to his vision of a society where education is a fundamental right and women are empowered to lead with dignity and equality.
